What is Earth Day? Earth Day is an activity that spread after U.S. Senator G. Nelson proposed and declared April 22 as 'Earth Day' in 1970. It is characterized by a wide variety of styles where individuals do what they can while thinking about the global environment, and various events to think about the global environment are held worldwide on April 22.
About Mitsui Fudosan's Logistics Facility Business Since establishing the Logistics Division (formerly the Logistics Facility Business Department) in April 2012, Mitsui Fudosan has been focusing on logistics facility development. Currently, with 'Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park (MFLP)' as its flagship brand, it operates 81 developed facilities domestically and internationally (Domestic: 68 properties, Overseas: 13 properties), such as 'MFLP Funabashi I' and 'MFLP Ebina I'. Under the business statement 'Together, we connect. Together, we create.', we will take on the challenge of connecting a wide variety of people, goods, and events, and creating value that is not bound by existing frameworks, as a problem-solving partner for tenant companies.
About Mitsui Fudosan Group's Sustainability Based on the '& mark' philosophy of 'Creating new value through coexistence, co-creation, and co-prosperity, and continuing to take on challenges for that purpose,' the Mitsui Fudosan Group considers 'Creation of Social Value' and 'Creation of Economic Value' as two wheels of a cart, believing that creating social value leads to the creation of economic value, and that economic value will realize the creation of even greater social value.
When formulating the new group management philosophy in April 2024, six 'GROUP MATERIALITY (Issues to Focus On)' were identified: '1. Contribution to Industrial Competitiveness', '2. Coexistence with the Environment', '3. Health and Vitality', '4. Safety and Security', '5. Diversity & Inclusion', and '6. Compliance and Governance'. We will contribute to sustainability by addressing these materialities through our core business.
