Mitsui Fudosan Implements 'Earth Day 2026' Initiatives at its Operated and Managed Logistics Facilities

Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Ueda; hereinafter 'Mitsui Fudosan'), sympathizing with the Earth Day concept of global environmental protection and as a power-saving activity at logistics facilities that catch the eyes of many people, turned off the facility exterior signage that is usually lit at night at a total of 24 MFLP and MFIP properties across 8 prefectures nationwide, in alignment with Earth Day on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

This initiative was launched upon the call of the Logistics Business Committee of The Real Estate Companies Association of Japan, and is being carried out in collaboration with participating companies of the committee that agree with the purpose of Earth Day.

■ What is Earth Day?
Earth Day is an activity that spread after U.S. Senator G. Nelson proposed and declared April 22 as 'Earth Day' in 1970. It is characterized by a wide variety of styles where individuals do what they can while thinking about the global environment, and various events to think about the global environment are held worldwide on April 22.

■ About Mitsui Fudosan's Logistics Facility Business
Since establishing the Logistics Division (formerly the Logistics Facility Business Department) in April 2012, Mitsui Fudosan has been focusing on logistics facility development. Currently, with 'Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park (MFLP)' as its flagship brand, it operates 81 developed facilities domestically and internationally (Domestic: 68 properties, Overseas: 13 properties), such as 'MFLP Funabashi I' and 'MFLP Ebina I'.
