Highlights of this Release - Mitsui Fudosan, Tokyo Dome, and TEPCO EP collaborate on an "Off-site Physical Corporate PPA"*1. - Through this three-company collaboration, the supply of real renewable energy will commence from April 1st. By FY2028, renewable energy will be supplied from new solar power plants at 18 locations in the Kanto area, with a total capacity of approximately 18,000kW and an annual power generation of approximately 23 million kWh. - With approximately 32% of Tokyo Dome City's*2 electricity consumption becoming real renewable energy, an annual reduction of approximately 9,600 tons of CO2 emissions is expected, advancing decarbonization. The three companies will continue to actively collaborate on initiatives contributing to carbon neutrality.

Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shun Ueda; hereinafter "Mitsui Fudosan"), Tokyo Dome Corporation (Head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yutaka Saito; hereinafter "Tokyo Dome"), and TEPCO Energy Partner, Inc. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Momoko Nagasaki; hereinafter "TEPCO EP") signed a contract regarding an off-site physical corporate PPA derived from solar power generation in March 2026, and supply will commence today.

Starting from April 1, 2026, and sequentially towards FY2028, renewable energy (hereinafter "RE electricity") from solar power plants newly developed by Mitsui Fudosan at a total of 18 locations in the Kanto area (total facility capacity approx. 18,000kW, annual power generation approx. 23 million kWh) will begin to be supplied to Tokyo Dome City, under the efficient and stable supply-demand management of TEPCO EP. This is expected to realize a large-scale off-site physical corporate PPA in the Kanto area where the generator and consumer belong to the same corporate group*3.

Since FY2023, all electricity used in the common areas and self-use areas of Tokyo Dome (stadium) has been RE100*4 compliant, virtually renewable energy supplied by TEPCO EP, utilizing non-fossil certificates. Through this initiative, by FY2028, the equivalent of Tokyo Dome City's annual daytime electricity consumption*5 (approximately 32% of annual electricity consumption) will become real renewable energy, amounting to an annual reduction of approximately 9,600 tons of CO2 emissions and advancing decarbonization.

Mitsui Fudosan, in its Group Action Plan*6 formulated in November 2021, aims to develop solar power generation totaling 380 million kWh annually (80 million kWh existing, 300 million kWh new) by FY2030. Of this, in the Kanto area, power generation exceeding 200 million kWh annually, including the current initiative, is expected to be realized by FY2028.

TEPCO EP and Mitsui Fudosan signed a business alliance*7 in October 2024 for the expansion of renewable energy introduction through new solar power generation, supplying renewable energy long-term to Mitsui Fudosan Group facilities. Leveraging the expertise in large-scale power procurement and operation cultivated through these various initiatives, the current "Off-site Physical Corporate PPA" has been realized.

The three companies will continue to deepen their collaboration and cooperation in the development and utilization of renewable energy, as well as in initiatives contributing to carbon neutrality, such as energy saving and battery utilization, thereby contributing to the realization of a decarbonized society.

Solar Power Plants (18 locations) Developed by Mitsui Fudosan and Scheduled to Supply Tokyo Dome City - Location: Kanto area (Ibaraki Prefecture, Tochigi Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture) - Total facility capacity: Approximately 18,000kW - Total power generation: Approximately 23 million kWh annually - Operation start: Sequentially from April 1, 2026

*1: Off-site Physical Corporate PPA Corporate PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) is a contract where a company purchases renewable energy from a power generator over the long term. It is attracting attention as an energy procurement method that can contribute to reducing corporate CO2 emissions. Among these, off-site physical corporate PPA refers to a form of supply where electricity and environmental value (zero-emission value, environmental labeling value) are supplied as a set to the consumer through a retail electricity provider, ensuring simultaneous generation and consumption from a remote power plant.

*2: Tokyo Dome City Tokyo Dome City is the largest entertainment complex in Tokyo, comprising various facilities such as the "Tokyo Dome," home to the Yomiuri Giants (building area 46,755m², capacity 55,000 people), "Tokyo Dome City Attractions," "LaQua," "Korakuen Hall," and "Tokyo Dome Hotel" (1,006 guest rooms).

*3: Generator and consumer belong to the same corporate group In January 2021, Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. made Tokyo Dome Corporation a subsidiary, becoming a group company.

*4: RE100 RE100, short for "Renewable Energy 100%," refers to an international initiative that aims to source 100% of the energy consumed in business activities from renewable energy.

*5: Daytime electricity consumption Refers to electricity consumed between 10:00 and 16:00.

*6: November 24, 2021: "Formulation of Group Action Plan for Realizing a Decarbonized Society"

*7: October 1, 2024: "Mitsui Fudosan x TEPCO Energy Partner Business Alliance for Expanding Renewable Energy Introduction through New Solar Power Generation"

Mitsui Fudosan Group's Sustainability Initiatives The Mitsui Fudosan Group, based on its "& mark" philosophy of "creating new value through coexistence, co-creation, and co-prosperity, and continuing to challenge for it," regards "creating social value" and "creating economic value" as two wheels of a cart. It believes that creating social value leads to creating economic value, and that economic value enables the creation of even greater social value. Furthermore, upon formulating its new Group Management Philosophy in April 2024, the Group identified six "GROUP MATERIALITY (issues to be addressed intensively)": "1. Contribution to industrial competitiveness," "2. Coexistence with the environment," "3. Health and vitality," "4. Safety and security," "5. Diversity & Inclusion," and "6. Compliance and governance." The Group will contribute to sustainability by addressing these materialities through its core business.

Tokyo Dome Group's Initiatives for Carbon Neutrality Based on its management philosophy of "realizing a rich society by sharing感動 (emotions) with customers," the Tokyo Dome Group is working to reduce environmental impact and realize sustainable urban development at "Tokyo Dome City," the largest entertainment city in Tokyo. As a member of the Mitsui Fudosan Group, based on the "Group Action Plan for Realizing a Decarbonized Society," it has actively promoted energy saving and decarbonization, including the introduction of virtually 100% renewable energy (RE100 compliant) at Tokyo Dome and Tokyo Dome Hotel, introduction of district heating and cooling systems, LED lighting in facilities, and waste recycling. Going forward, the Group will continue to promote the utilization of "real renewable energy" across the entire city and contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society by providing a sustainable entertainment space where customers can safely enjoy "感動."

TEPCO EP's Initiatives for Carbon Neutrality TEPCO EP will contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society together with its customers by solving various customer challenges in renewable energy utilization, such as responding to various systems and securing stable power sources, through the provision of diverse menus including off-site physical corporate PPAs. *This initiative contributes to four of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
