Nihonbashi Riverwalk is an area name referring to the redevelopment zone along the Nihonbashi River and its surrounding areas, focusing on waterfront spaces and a riverside pedestrian network. In this area, the undergrounding project of the Nihonbashi section of the Metropolitan Expressway and five ongoing redevelopment projects are collaborating to promote town development open to the sky and river, led by the national government, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Chuo City, the Metropolitan Expressway, private businesses including redevelopment operators, and the community. The combined area of the five development zones is approximately 11 hectares, and by creating a vast waterfront space, we aim for the Nihonbashi/Yaesu area to become Tokyo's new face as a "Waterfront City."

Based on the '& mark' philosophy of "continuously challenging to create new value through coexistence, co-prosperity, and co-creation," the Mitsui Fudosan Group views "creation of social value" and "creation of economic value" as two wheels of a cart, believing that creating social value leads to the creation of economic value, which in turn enables the realization of even greater social value. When the new Group Management Philosophy was established in April 2024, six items were identified as "GROUP MATERIALITY (Issues to focus on)": 1. Contribution to Industrial Competitiveness, 2. Coexistence with the Environment, 3. Health and Vitality, 4. Safety and Security, 5. Diversity & Inclusion, and 6. Compliance and Governance. We will address these materialities through our core business and contribute to sustainability.

In April 2025, we established the " &EARTH for Nature" declaration for environmental coexistence in town development, viewing "environment" as an integration of nature, people, and communities, and are promoting town development that expands rich "environments" and passes them on to future generations. Five key issues were established within this declaration: "Protecting and Nurturing Greenery," "Leveraging the Charm of Water," "Enriching Ecosystems," "Connecting Regional Sentiments," and "Circulating Natural Resources." The initiatives in this release contribute to four of the key issues in "&EARTH for Nature."
