Mitsuba Group (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Makoto Miyagi), comprising corporations of judicial scriveners, land and house investigators, and administrative scriveners, as well as a stock company, has opened its Tokyo Office for the Land and House Investigator Corporation. This is the fourth office for the Land and House Investigator Corporation, following those in Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and Osaka.
This expansion will enhance our surveying and registration capabilities in the Tokyo metropolitan area, enabling us to provide integrated services through collaboration with judicial scriveners and administrative scriveners.

In the Tokyo metropolitan area, alongside active real estate transactions and an increase in redevelopment projects, there is a strong demand for faster and more efficient real estate-related procedures due to the rise in inheritance cases driven by a declining birthrate and aging population. Cases involving multiple specialized fields, such as one-stop services for surveying and registration related to sales and inheritance, addressing boundary disputes, and handling cases with owners residing in distant locations or overseas, are increasing year by year.
At Mitsuba Group, we are increasingly experiencing a rise in cases requiring boundary confirmation surveys and registration applications for unregistered buildings among consultations regarding inherited real estate.
