Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture / President and CEO: Tadateru Mitani, hereinafter referred to as Mitani Sangyo) is pleased to announce the launch of the next-generation version of its cloud service data integration service, "Chalaza (カラザ)", which features a new service portal function.
Chalaza is a data integration service that connects various cloud services to support business efficiency improvements and system cost reductions. The current Chalaza is available from \u00a520,000 per month for one integration, with no initial cost. It has been adopted primarily in the HR and labor domains due to its simple Excel-based setup and support for custom fields.
While maintaining the same initial and monthly fees, the newly launched next-generation version inherits the traditional data integration functions and has been revamped with a user experience centered around a service portal. This allows for more intuitive and centralized execution of integration processes, setup, status checks, and error handling.
Background of Next-Generation Development
The use of cloud services in companies is rapidly expanding. In the HR and labor domains, it has become common to use multiple cloud services for different purposes, such as HR management, payroll, labor affairs, and talent management. However, challenges such as duplicate data entry between systems, CSV integration, and the personalization and complexity of operational management still exist, hindering business efficiency. Chalaza was developed to solve these issues by supporting smooth data integration between cloud services, enabling centralized HR data management and reducing input workload. Furthermore, with the expansion of cloud utilization by each company, Chalaza's operating platform has been refreshed with the aim of strengthening security measures, reducing customer implementation and operational burdens, and enabling rapid version upgrades and new feature releases. In addition, to provide a more convenient service, the service portal function has been implemented, driving the development of the next-generation version.
Key Features of Next-Generation Chalaza
1. Significantly Improved Operability with New Service Portal
The next-generation Chalaza features a newly implemented service portal. This allows for intuitive execution and confirmation of integration processes, which were previously handled individually, directly from a browser-based screen.
Integration Execution Instruction Screen
Main Functions:
- Display of contracted integration models - Execution of integration processes - Visualization of integration results and usage status - Error log confirmation - Integration execution instruction screen - Centralized management of various settings
2. Reduced Implementation and Operational Burden
Chalaza's environment settings, which previously required operation on a local PC, can now be managed via the service portal. This enables configuration and operational management from any PC, independent of the terminal used. Additionally, automatic scheduled integrations can be set up through the portal, streamlining daily operations.
3. Automated Error Notifications
A system has been established to send email notifications to the responsible person when an integration process terminates abnormally or generates a warning. This makes it easier for the person in charge to grasp the situation at the necessary time without constantly monitoring the operational status.
4. Enhanced Security for a More Secure Operating Foundation
The next-generation Chalaza also features a refreshed system platform, establishing an operating environment with the latest security measures. This platform upgrade ensures the protection of valuable data with a higher level of security.
Future Plans
Chalaza currently offers multiple integration models primarily in the HR domain, including integrations with various cloud services such as Soumu Jinji Bugyo Cloud, Kyuyo Bugyo Cloud, Kaonavi, HRBrain, Office Station, SmartHR, and PHONE APPLI PEOPLE.
In the future, Mitani Sangyo plans to further expand integrations within the HR and labor domains and extend its scope to back-office areas such as expense processing and general affairs, aiming to enhance functions that support more advanced data utilization and business efficiency.
Through Chalaza, Mitani Sangyo will support the optimization of cloud utilization and data integration in companies' back-office operations, and contribute to DX promotion by enhancing data-driven decision-making and streamlining business processes.
