KAMU kanazawa x Mitani Sangyo: Second Installment of 'TOWN hack Flag Art Project with MITANISANGYO'

Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. is launching the second installment of the 'TOWN hack Flag Art Project with MITANISANGYO,' a collaborative project with the private contemporary art museum 'KAMU kanazawa,' operated by setchu Co., Ltd. The second phase features a new flag work titled 'The flag for birds' by artist Yuken Teruya. It will be displayed on the flagpole in front of the Mitani Sangyo Kanazawa headquarters from June 16, 2026, to June 2027. 'TOWN hack' is an outdoor project by KAMU kanazawa that treats the entire city of Kanazawa as an exhibition space. Following the first installment by Ryan Gander, this new work by Yuken Teruya uses the approach of 'raising the sky of Okinawa in the often-cloudy sky of Kanazawa' to express the realities faced by Okinawa and prayers for peace. KAMU kanazawa will also exhibit related works by Teruya simultaneously.
