MISUMI Group Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shin Shimizu) will exhibit at "INTERMOLD 2026 (The 37th Die & Mold Manufacturing Technology Exhibition)" to be held at Intex Osaka from Wednesday, April 15 to Friday, April 17, 2026.

At our booth, we will showcase "MISUMI floow," a total cost-down service for indirect materials that reduces the man-hours required for indirect material procurement by approximately 70% for mass production factory customers. At the venue, we will provide a live demonstration of a vending machine that can be installed in factories, allowing visitors to experience its actual usage. Furthermore, we will unveil a new vending machine model for the first time, designed for space-saving installation and optimized for tool usage in mold processing. In addition, Misumi's new lineup of cutting tools will also be exhibited.

Total Cost-Down Service for Indirect Materials "MISUMI floow"

"MISUMI floow" is a total cost-down service that, through digital innovation, enables optimal product provision via channels based on customer demand data, thereby streamlining indirect material procurement in factories. It reduces procurement time by 70% and enables appropriate inventory management by eliminating the hassle of ordering for procurement staff and visualizing inventory levels. For frequently used consumables, Misumi delivers them to vending machines permanently installed in factories, acting as a "Toyama's home medicine kit" for manufacturing sites. Since the inventory in the vending machines is Misumi's asset, customers do not hold excessive inventory. Furthermore, facial recognition or ID passes are required to retrieve items from the vending machines, preventing overuse and leading to a reform in employees' cost awareness. The efforts of this service were recognized with the Good Design Award in 2025, the IT Award's IT Grand Prize (Customer Value/Service Innovation Category), and the Encouragement Award (SX Category) at the Japan DX Award.
