What is the DX Brand?
The DX Brand award recognizes companies among approximately 3,800 listed companies on the Tokyo Stock Exchange that are promoting fundamental reforms of their business models based on digital technology to achieve new growth and strengthen competitiveness through Digital Transformation (DX). The selection criteria are for companies that have established internal mechanisms to promote DX for corporate value enhancement and have achieved corporate value enhancement through excellent digital utilization. For DX Brand 2026, 30 companies, including Misumi, were selected.
Among these DX Brand companies, three companies, including Misumi, were selected for the DX Grand Prix 2026 as enterprises that have demonstrated particularly outstanding DX initiatives.

Our business, aiming to be a foundation supporting the global manufacturing industry, has contributed to manufacturing by innovating existing processes, which are often inefficient, using digital technologies (IT/AI). Our business model is characterized by innovating the process itself by deeply understanding our customers. We enable one-stop procurement via our EC site, from over 30 million standard parts and consumables to one-of-a-kind custom parts designed with 3DCAD (essentially an infinite number of products).
In recent years, we have been promoting a growth strategy that combines digital technology with manufacturing, and have been launching a series of digital services related to customers' design and procurement (purchasing) operations. We position 'AI x Manufacturing' as a prerequisite for all business environments. Along with strengthening existing businesses globally, in 2025, we are entering growth industries as part of our business domain expansion and have acquired Fictiv Inc., a US-based online manufacturing company, to enhance our digital manufacturing capabilities.
