Hosting the 3rd 'EV Charging Fes SPRING 2026 sponsored by JTB Corp' During the Golden Week Period

MIRAIZE Enechange Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Hirokazu Furuta, hereinafter "MIRAIZE Enechange") will hold the team-competition online event "EV Charging Fes SPRING 2026 sponsored by JTB Corp (hereinafter 'EV Charging Fes')" from 12:00 on Thursday, April 23, 2026, to 11:59 on Sunday, May 17, 2026. For this third installment of the series, the event will unfold under the theme "Udon vs. Soba - Nationwide Turf War," an experiential event combining EV driving demand during the Golden Week (GW) period with Japanese food culture.

We are pleased to announce that we have recently obtained a patent for the team score calculation system used in the EV Charging Fes, which gamifies EV charging usage (Registration Date: February 20, 2026).

Additionally, we have prepared travel catalog gifts (JTB Corp's "Tabimono Sanka") and charging coupons worth a total of 300,000 yen as prizes. Advance entry is required to participate.

◾️Background of the Event

The EV Charging Fes was first held in autumn 2025 (Halloween) with the aim of creating a new EV experience where regular charging can be "enjoyed like a game." For the second installment in winter 2025 (WINTER), we welcomed JTB Corp as a sponsoring partner and deployed the event nationwide under the theme "Hot Spring Team vs. Gourmet Team." The previous winter's EV Charging Fes successfully encouraged behavioral changes among EV users, resulting in a significant increase in the total charging time of participants.

For this third event, capturing the high demand for driving EVs during the long GW holidays, we selected "Udon vs. Soba"—a food culture familiar to Japanese people—as the theme, aiming for accessible and easy-to-participate content.

How to Participate

1. Select a team from the special EV Charging Fes page and enter.

2. Charge using the "EV Charging Enechange" app during the event period.

3. Earn 10 points for every 10 minutes of charging time, added to your team's score.

Winning Rules

・ Victory is determined by the total points of the team in each prefecture.

・ The team that wins in the most prefectures becomes the overall champion.

・ With the "Large Portion Bonus," points are tripled on weekends when conditions are met.

◾️About the Patent Acquisition

Our company has acquired patent rights for the game management system that calculates team scores based on actual EV charging data and updates the competition status for each prefecture in real time. This system has been utilized under a pending application since the first EV Charging Fes (autumn 2025), and has now been formally patented.
