Mirise Enechange Establishes Award Honoring Facilities Contributing to EV Charging Infrastructure | Route Inn Hotels Wins Comprehensive Award in Inaugural Results

Mirise Enechange Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hirokazu Furuta; hereinafter 'Mirise Enechange') has established the 'EVCS Award (EV Charging Station Award)' to honor facilities that contribute to the spread and improvement of convenience of EV charging infrastructure, and has announced the first selection results. Route Inn Japan Co., Ltd. (Route Inn Hotels) was selected for the comprehensive award of this award. In addition, 5 facilities each in 3 categories were selected for the Facility Award, making a total of 15 facilities, and all 16 facilities including the comprehensive award became the winning facilities of the 1st EVCS Award. ◾️What is the EVCS Award? The 'EVCS Award' is a newly established initiative aimed at honoring and thanking facilities that actively work to develop charging infrastructure, in commemoration of EV Charging Enechange's cumulative number of public standard chargers installed exceeding 10,000 ports. The evaluation was based on the following three perspectives, comprehensively taking into account charger usage and feedback from EV users based on 10,917 target spots and 4,124 total comments (May 2025 - January 2026). Details of the evaluation criteria are kept private. ≪Evaluation Perspectives≫ - Maintenance (Equipment stability and upkeep) - Hospitality (Consideration for users and service quality) - Convenience (Usability and accessibility) ◎Comprehensive Award: Route Inn Japan Co., Ltd. Route Inn Hotels: 281 locations, 362 ports Taking the lead in the industry, they worked on the development of EV charging infrastructure and expanded our largest scale of 281 locations nationwide. They established a brand widely recognized by EV users that 'there is Enechange at Route Inn Hotels'. Their user-centric operations, such as advance reservations and opening to non-guests, garnered a lot of positive feedback.
