Miraiya Bookstore Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture; President and CEO: Masataka Hirakawa) has concluded an agreement with Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture, titled the 'Agreement on the Bookstore Collaboration Promotion Project.' Starting Sunday, June 21, 2026, the Miraiya Bookstore Natori Store will begin offering a service for reserving, picking up, and returning materials from the Natori City Library.

This service allows residents to pick up materials reserved through the Natori City Library at the Miraiya Bookstore Natori Store, as well as return books borrowed from the library at the same location. By connecting libraries and bookstores, this initiative aims to improve convenience for citizens, create more opportunities to engage with reading, and further enhance the local reading environment.

On the first day of service, June 21, 2026, an agreement signing ceremony will be held at the Miraiya Bookstore Natori Store, accompanied by a commemorative event open to the local community.

- Materials reserved through the Natori City Library can be picked up at the Miraiya Bookstore Natori Store.

How to Use the Service

Reserve materials through the Natori City Library’s reservation website and select 'Miraiya Bookstore' as the pickup location.

※ A Natori City Library user card is required to use this service.

Additionally, applications can also be made via the QR code displayed on posters at the bookstore.
