Kyutech's Visual Inspection AI Selected for PARKS GAP Fund Program Step 2-2

Professor Akinobu Tokunaga's research on 'Autonomous and Human-Centric Visual Inspection AI' at Kyushu Institute of Technology has been promoted to Step 2-2 of the PARKS GAP Fund Program. Unlike conventional AI requiring few images but offering limited tuning, this system uses about 1,000 images to achieve high performance and flexibility at a low cost. Integrated with Mixed Reality (MR), it reduces inspector workload and minimizes variability, with potential applications in agriculture and infrastructure. The project aims for commercialization and startup creation with support from Mirai Creation Investments and QB Capital.
