Miraicle Lab Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Ryota Watanabe, hereinafter "Miraicle Lab"), which develops event planning and entrepreneurship programs for elementary, junior high, and high school students, took the stage at the startup support program results pitch within "WORK & ROLE" held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, and announced the results regarding the "Creation of a gentle community targeting Generation Z" implemented in FY2025.
Miraicle Lab has been selected as a supported company under the "Innovation Support Program (Administrative Issue Resolution Framework)" within the "Corporate Transformation, Startup, and Growth Support Project" promoted by Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The support period is scheduled for two years from FY2025 to FY2026.
## Background of the Initiative
This project aims to "create gentle connections between Generation Z and society."
In the past, there were natural opportunities to have contact with diverse generations within the community and to experience close adults working. Students built connections with society by interacting with local people and encountering diverse occupations and values.
On the other hand, currently, structural changes are progressing even in Kitakyushu City, such as:
- An increase in young people who "only know one company" due to the normalization of long-term internships.
- A situation where they are forced to make career choices before trying what they "want to do" due to the early start of job hunting.
- The outflow of human resources to the Tokyo metropolitan area, which has many employment opportunities.
As a result, society has become "narrow and closed" for young people, and their connection with the local community is becoming increasingly diluted.
Because we are in an era where young people are rushed to make future choices, we believe that a place like a "playground" where they can test society and be exposed to diverse options is necessary, which is why we conducted this demonstration experiment.
## Content of the Demonstration Experiment
"Academee," developed by Miraicle Lab, is a unique program that redesigns real corporate business operations into "teaching materials" for students and transforms the process up to the "delivery" of deliverables into learning. Through this, we will build an "Education x Business" model that simultaneously achieves corporate problem-solving and student growth.
In this project, we will collaborate with businesses and stakeholders in Kitakyushu to develop a practical learning place that connects industry, education, and the local community.
