Mirai Works Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Shoji Okamoto; hereinafter 'the Company') is pleased to announce that it has been commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for the "Practical Field Development Model Project for Digital Human Resource Development (User Company Model)" for fiscal years 2026 and 2027 (hereinafter 'the Project'). In this Project, the Company will develop small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Japan that are considering DX adoption, assign optimal DX advisors (instructors) from its proprietary database of 96,500 professionals, and promote problem-solving and the development of self-reliant digital human resources.
Background of the Project
Currently, Japanese SMEs face chronic labor shortages, making productivity improvement through DX an urgent issue. However, regional companies struggle to recruit digital talent, and traditional lecture-based training does not facilitate practical skill acquisition.
In this Project, the Company will utilize alliances with 128 regional financial institutions nationwide and its customer network of regional SMEs to recruit companies that will foster internal human resources through DX implementation "practical fields." By assigning optimal DX advisors from its database of 96,500 professionals and seamlessly executing from issue identification to advisor selection and human resource development, the Company supports regional SMEs in solving DX challenges and building a self-reliant framework.
As a commissioned operator of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's previous "Practical Field Development Model Project for Digital Human Resource Development (Core Model)" (*1), the Company has supported SMEs nationwide in accepting external digital talent. The insights and networks gained from this activity regarding essential challenges and on-site realities in regional corporate DX promotion will be fully utilized in this Project.
Through this Project, the Company aims to realize the construction of an "independent and self-reliant" framework that enables regional SMEs to continue promoting DX through co-creation with highly knowledgeable professionals. Furthermore, by verifying more efficient and effective support methods through "practical fields," the Company fosters a virtuous cycle that simultaneously achieves sustainable growth for regional companies and self-growth for challenging digital talent.
