What are the differences between the free and advanced versions? The free version offers full main ledger functionality, plus one travel ledger, allowing you to fully experience all core features (multi-currency accounting, visual charts, etc.). The advanced version allows you to create an unlimited number of travel ledgers and unlocks advanced features such as the travel map and travel review center.

Why is it paid? When do I need to upgrade? When you need to create a second travel ledger, the system will prompt you to upgrade. The free version allows you to fully experience all the features of the first travel ledger, so you can fully understand the value of the app before deciding whether to upgrade.

How do I cancel my subscription? Can I still use it after canceling? You can cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. After canceling, you can still use it until the end of the subscription period, after which it will revert to the free version (limited to one travel ledger).

What is the difference between annual and monthly subscriptions? The annual subscription (NT$ 240/year) averages NT$ 20 per month, which saves NT$ 120/year compared to the monthly subscription (NT$ 30/month), making it the most cost-effective choice. What is Treemap visualization? How do I use it? A Treemap is a type of visualization chart that intuitively shows the proportion of spending for each category using block sizes. The larger the block, the more is spent in that category. Clicking on a block allows you to view the detailed transaction records for that category.

What currencies are supported? How are exchange rates updated? Minimalist Accounting: Travel Ledger supports all ISO 4217 standard currencies (over 170 types), including 19 popular currencies such as NTD, CNY, USD, JPY, KRW, THB, SGD, EUR, GBP, AUD, VND, MYR, PHP, IDR, HKD, MOP, CAD, NZD, CHF. Exchange rates are automatically updated regularly, and the last successfully updated exchange rate will be used when offline.

Will travel accounting and daily accounting get mixed up? No, they won't. Travel expenses belong to both the travel ledger and the main ledger. We use clear views and markers to allow you to switch freely between "travel perspective" and "all expenses." You can choose whether or not to include travel expenses in the main ledger.

What are the travel map and review center? The travel map allows you to mark all your travel footsteps on a map and view spending statistics for each country/city. The travel review center can generate annual/quarterly reviews and share them on social media. These are exclusive features for the advanced version.

Where is my data stored? Is it uploaded to a server? Data is stored locally on your device (using SwiftData). Free version data is stored only on the device; advanced subscription users can manually back up to iCloud (up to 3 backups) and restore when needed. Data is not uploaded to our servers and is fully controlled by you.
