MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (hereinafter referred to as MinebeaMitsumi) will provide technical cooperation using its SALIOT (Smart Adjustable Light for the Internet Of Things) smart LED spotlights for the exhibition "P-kies for Everyone," which will be held from Friday, April 17 to Monday, May 18 at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO on the 4th floor of Shibuya PARCO.

Artist yooolk (Shunsuke Itakura), who is planning the art direction for this venue, highly evaluated SALIOT's moving spotlights for their alignment with the exhibition's concept, leading to this technical collaboration. In the "Future Area" of the venue, eight SALIOT S3 series units will be used to create a lighting installation that "moves with intention."

### About "P-kies for Everyone" This art exhibition is part of a large-scale collaboration between popular characters from Fuji TV's early childhood education program "Ponkickies" series, such as Gachapin and Mukku, and over 50 companies and stores in the Shibuya and Harajuku areas. It is organized by PARCO Co., Ltd. and held at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO.

### Future Area x SALIOT Exhibition Overview The venue is divided into three areas: Past, Present, and Future. SALIOT spotlights were chosen for the Future Area, which was directed by yooolk. This area features an exhibition where visitors can perceive the passage of time and changes in light within the space.

While traditional exhibition lighting often fixes light to show works consistently, this exhibition uses SALIOT to incorporate light itself as an element of the spatial experience. The brightness of the Future Area is not constant but changes gently, with moving spotlights illuminating works as if selecting them. By gradually changing the direction and intensity of light, the exhibition space does not remain static, allowing the relationship between the works and the space to shift delicately. The area aims to present the future as an open state full of possibilities, creating an impression of flowing time. Visitors can rediscover the charm of Ponkickies while experiencing a new spatial sensation.

MinebeaMitsumi, as an "Integrate (Sogo)" precision components manufacturer that combines ultra-precision machining technology with a wide range of advanced technologies, will continue to add new value to lighting and provide products that are useful to artists, museums, galleries, lighting industry professionals, and consumers.

*Note: "Integrate (Sogo)" is a coined word meaning to combine various resources of the group to create new value through synergy.

### Comment from yooolk (Shunsuke Itakura) "I am very happy to create a space with SALIOT light in the Future Area of this exhibition. I have always wanted to express things like air and time that lie behind visible forms through light, reflection, and layers. In this exhibition, I hope to create an experience where light itself changes the impression of the space and touches memories and emotions. SALIOT is attractive for its delicate control and smooth movement, blending naturally into the production without disturbing the tranquility. I hope this becomes a place where the joy and rich memories of Ponkickies can be felt as a new sensation for the future."
