The 127th Education Information Sharing Session will be held under the theme 'What is Konan University's original 'KONAN Certificate' system that evaluates and certifies students' challenges and abilities not reflected in grade evaluations, with approximately 2,000 students participating?' The session will feature Ms. Mariko Sakai (in charge of KONAN Certificate) from the Educational Learning Support Center, Office of the University-wide Education Promotion Organization, Konan University, along with students who are actively participating in the program.

■ What is the 'KONAN Certificate'?

The 'KONAN Certificate' is an original system of Konan University that recognizes students' unique challenges, enthusiasm, and extracurricular achievements that cannot be measured by grade evaluations such as GPA, awarding grades from Level 3 to Level 1.
Launched in 2015, the KONAN Certificate system covers six fields as of 2026: Library, Global, Volunteer, Sports, Learning Support, and Career Design.

In this session, Ms. Sakai will discuss the 'KONAN Certificate' regarding:
- The motivation for establishing the system
- The benefits of implementing the system
