Kanto's Largest Okinawan Culture Festival "OKINAWA FES Milafete" Lands in Hokkaido for the First Time! "OKINAWA FES Milafete HOKKAIDO" to be Held for the First Time in September 2026!

The OKINAWA FES Milafete HOKKAIDO Executive Committee (Chairman: Dai Katagiri), in collaboration with the OKINAWA FES Milafete Executive Committee and Rentacom Hokkaido Co., Ltd., has formed a new executive committee for its inaugural event in Hokkaido. Under this committee, it has been decided to hold "OKINAWA FES Milafete HOKKAIDO" for the first time over two days, Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Es Con Field HOKKAIDO.

Until now, "OKINAWA FES Milafete" has primarily been held in the Tokyo metropolitan area, aiming to disseminate the charm of Okinawan music, culture, food, and people nationwide under the theme of "REAL OKINAWA."

To further expand into other regions and build a sustainable event management system, the new executive committee has been formed in Hokkaido, partnering with Rentacom Hokkaido Co., Ltd., which possesses deep local networks and operational foundations.

This event will feature a diverse range of content, including live performances by representative Okinawan artists, as well as stalls offering Okinawan food and specialty products. The goal is to create an event where visitors can experience the authentic atmosphere of Okinawa in Hokkaido, offering a comprehensive taste of Okinawan charm through music, food, and culture.

Furthermore, this initiative aims to enhance the visitor experience and achieve sustainable event management by combining entertainment with sales and food services, creating a complex event format.

Details regarding performing artists and exhibitors will be announced sequentially.

Ticket sales are scheduled for mid-May.
