DXYZ's Facial Recognition ID Platform 'FreeiD' to Be Introduced at Marimo's Condominium 'Connect Garden Hiroshima Girin'

(Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Sei Nakanishi; hereinafter 'DXYZ') has decided to introduce its facial recognition ID platform 'FreeiD (Freed)' at 'Connect Garden Hiroshima Girin' (hereinafter 'the property'), a condominium developed by Marimo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Marimo').

The property will be constructed on the former site of AEON Mall Hiroshima Girin (Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture) and is scheduled for completion in late March 2028.

■ Background of Introducing 'FreeiD' at 'Connect Garden Hiroshima Girin'

DXYZ of the Migalo Group aims to realize its vision of 'making it normal to live, work, and play using only your face' by seamlessly connecting residents' daily routines with services at commercial facilities via FreeiD. This initiative seeks to create a new living experience that combines convenience and security, allowing residents to live without keys or wallets.

This time, DXYZ will install the facial recognition ID platform 'FreeiD' in six locations at the property: airlock, trash storage area, sub-entrance, connect lounge, and other door entrances. This provides the convenience of access even with hands full, while ensuring high security through advanced facial recognition technology, meeting the diverse needs of customers.

'FreeiD,' developed and provided by DXYZ of the Migalo Group, is a facial recognition ID platform that connects living, working, and playing through facial recognition alone. By integrating all IDs—such as wallets and identification documents—into the face, users can access, make payments, and verify identity with just one facial registration, realizing a world where 'your face alone connects everything.®'

As FreeiD can connect with various facial recognition AIs, it can provide the optimal facial recognition AI for each use case.

The 'FreeiD Condominium' solution for multi-unit housing offers Japan's first 'All-Facial-Recognition Condominium®,' where no keys are required from shared areas such as entrances and elevators to individual private units, enabling residents to 'live by face only.' (As of May 2026, 398 buildings with FreeiD have been completed.)

In addition to condominiums, DXYZ deploys facial recognition services in offices, nurseries, golf courses, and theme parks. In office services, it enables 'working by face only' by using facial recognition for employee access and visitor registration, providing office operations without the need for employee ID cards. DXYZ is also conducting pilot projects for facial recognition payment 'FreeiD Pay'※1 and My Number Card integration services※2.
