Michael Kors Launches Capsule Collaboration with Christina Zimpel

Michael Kors is pleased to announce a capsule collaboration with artist Christina Zimpel. Zimpel's colorful and positive illustrations perfectly harmonize with this season's signature sun-drenched, “easy-chic” designs, inspired by the city of Saint-Tropez, the setting for this campaign. The artist, long admired by designer Michael Kors, created two original artworks for the brand. One is a sun-drenched beach scene depicted in vibrant blue and yellow, and the other is a stylish interpretation of Saint-Tropez's iconic bell tower in forest green, hot pink, orange, and white. These prints are featured on a diverse lineup including a fine, soft cotton sarong, a shirtdress, a shorts and shirt set, as well as a canvas tote bag, bucket hat, and small leather goods, evoking the light and charm of a Riviera escape. “When I first saw Christina’s work years ago, I was drawn to the brightness and the joyful world she creates,” says designer Michael Kors. “Her work also has a strong sense of place, instantly transporting the viewer. I felt that a wardrobe filled with such a cheerful and uplifting aesthetic was appropriate for this summer.” “It was a truly wonderful experience to work with Michael again.
