Mi-Labo Launches Maternal and Child Health Handbook App "mila-e Oyako Techo" in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture

Mi-Labo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuya Tanigawa; hereinafter "Mi-Labo"), which develops services for local governments, has introduced its maternal and child health handbook app "mila-e (Mirai-e) Oyako Techo" in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, and will begin providing it as "Urayasu City Oyako Techo" from May 11, 2026.

Background of "mila-e Oyako Techo" Provision

In Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, Mi-Labo has been operating "Makasete Anshin Vaccination Navi" (hereinafter "the old app"), based on a maternal and child health handbook app developed and provided by Mi-Labo since 2014, and has introduced the online reservation service "mila-e Reservation" since 2023, which is used for postpartum care.

To further enhance "accompanying consultation support" that is close to child-rearing families, the base maternal and child health handbook app has been renewed to "mila-e Oyako Techo" and will be newly provided as "Urayasu City Oyako Techo."

"mila-e Oyako Techo" will offer new functions such as "email distribution and push notification function" to timely receive announcements from Urayasu City according to age and month, and "MyNa Portal linkage." Previously, users had to manually enter vaccination records such as vaccination dates into the maternal and child health handbook app after vaccination, but now vaccination records can be displayed on the maternal and child health handbook app without manual input.

In addition, existing functions such as the "vaccination scheduler" that can prevent missed vaccinations and incorrect vaccination intervals (patented), and the "electronic maternal and child health handbook function" that allows users to record the contents of the maternal and child health handbook, such as growth charts and infant health check-up records, on their My Page, will continue to be available.

Moving forward, we will continue to support the creation of a town where child-rearing is more convenient and secure than ever before, and strengthen a sustainable support system utilizing ICT.

mila-e Authentication is an authentication service for public services that enables public personal authentication and common ID management. It can omit the input of basic four pieces of information when applying electronically, making troublesome information input easy and convenient. (Obtained certification from the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications in 2023)

mila-e Application is a local government counter DX service. It is used in postpartum care projects in combination with "mila-e Coupon" and "Birth Registration Once-Only," which allows multiple procedures to be applied for at once via smartphone.
