Mi-Labo Launches Maternal and Child Health Handbook App "mila-e Oyako Techo" in Toshima Village, Tokyo

Mi-Labo Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuya Tanigawa; hereinafter "Mi-Labo"), a company developing services for local governments, will launch its maternal and child health handbook app "mila-e (Mirai-e) Oyako Techo" in Toshima Village, Tokyo, as "Oyako Techo Toshima Village," starting May 1, 2026.

Background of "mila-e Oyako Techo" Introduction

Toshima Village, Tokyo, has been engaged in various child-rearing support projects. To further enhance its "continuous counseling support" that stays close to child-rearing families, the village has decided to introduce "mila-e Oyako Techo."

"mila-e Oyako Techo" enables continuous support for child-rearing families through ICT, offering features such as a "mail delivery/push notification function" to receive timely announcements from Toshima Village according to the child's age, a "vaccination scheduler" to prevent missed vaccinations or incorrect intervals, and an "electronic maternal and child health handbook function" to record the contents of the maternal and child health handbook, such as growth charts and infant health checkup records, on a personal page.

An online reservation service related to child-rearing is also scheduled to be introduced from July 2026. Moving forward, the app will continue to support community development where child-rearing is more convenient and secure than ever before, and strengthen a sustainable support system utilizing ICT.

Even amidst challenges in securing human resources, such as the absence of public health nurses in Reiwa 7 (2025) fiscal year, we will utilize digital power to build an uninterrupted support system.

Concurrently, we will proactively work on the digitalization of vaccination administration, further promoting an environment where pregnancy, childbirth, and child-rearing can be done with peace of mind.
