Mirabo Launches Maternal and Child Health Handbook App "mila-e Oyako Techo" in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture

Mirabo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuya Tanikawa; hereinafter "Mirabo"), a company that develops services for local governments, has launched its maternal and child health handbook app "mila-e Oyako Techo" in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, under the name "Saijo City Oyako Techo Hapi♡Suku".

Background of "mila-e Oyako Techo" Provision

Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, has been engaged in child-rearing support projects for a long time, having introduced "Kosodate Oen Site Hapi♡Suku," based on a maternal and child health handbook app developed and provided by Mirabo since 2018, and "mila-e Vaccination," a digital pre-examination slip service for infant vaccinations, in some medical institutions since 2024.

To further enhance "accompaniment-type consultation support" that stands by child-rearing families, the base maternal and child health handbook app has been renewed to "mila-e Oyako Techo" and is now being newly provided as "Saijo City Oyako Techo Hapi♡Suku."

With "mila-e Oyako Techo," new features include integration with "mila-e Vaccination" and My Number Portal. Previously, users had to manually enter vaccination records such as the date of vaccination into the maternal and child health handbook app after vaccination. Now, vaccination records can be displayed directly in the maternal and child health handbook app without manual input.

Existing features such as the "Email Distribution/Push Notification Function" which allows timely reception of announcements from Saijo City according to the child's age in months/years, the "Vaccination Scheduler" which prevents missed vaccinations and incorrect vaccination intervals, and the "Electronic Maternal and Child Health Handbook Function" which allows recording of maternal and child health handbook content such as growth charts and infant health check-up records on a personal page, will continue to be available.

Moving forward, we will continue to support the creation of a town where child-rearing is more convenient and secure than ever before, and strengthen a sustainable support system utilizing ICT.

mila-e Application is a local government counter DX service. It is used in postpartum care projects, combining with "mila-e Coupon" and enabling [Birth Registration Once-Only] where multiple procedures can be applied for at once via smartphone or other devices.
