Mental Health Technologies Inc. (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinnosuke Tone, Securities Code: 9218; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a sponsorship agreement with professional tennis player Rei Sakamoto, effective July 1, 2026.

▪️ Background and Objectives

The Company group has launched a new return-to-work support service, "ELPIS Kokoro no Rehabilitation" (ELPIS Mental Rehabilitation), as part of its corporate health management service "Sangyoi Cloud" (Industrial Physician Cloud). In the world of sports, it is standard practice to undergo a "rehabilitation" process, not just "treatment," when returning to competition after an absence due to injury or other reasons. However, in the field of mental health in the workplace, the importance of the preparation period and training necessary between recovery from illness and return to work is not yet fully recognized. "ELPIS Kokoro no Rehabilitation" is a service that incorporates the concept of "mental rehabilitation" between treatment/recovery and return to work, supporting stable social reintegration and preventing re-leave.

This sponsorship agreement aims to support Mr. Sakamoto, who continues to challenge himself on the world stage, and to widely communicate the idea that "rehabilitation is essential for return" to society.

Furthermore, just as Mr. Sakamoto continues to grow as a figure who carries the future of Japanese tennis, our group aims to become a social infrastructure in the fields of industrial health, mental health, and re-work support. We will continue to challenge ourselves in our respective fields, grow together, and deliver value to society.

▪️ Profile of Rei Sakamoto

Born June 24, 2006, in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.

In the 2024 Australian Open Junior Boys' Singles, he achieved the first-ever victory by a Japanese player, accomplishing a feat that only one other Japanese player has achieved across all Grand Slam juniors. He also won the Junior Doubles at the US Open, his final junior tournament. He turned professional in September 2024 at the age of 18. He will make his first main draw appearance at a Grand Slam tournament at the 2026 Australian Open.

▪️ Comment from Rei Sakamoto

I am pleased to receive support from Mental Health Technologies.

In the world of sports, it is standard to undergo thorough rehabilitation after an injury to return to the court in optimal condition. I feel that preparation is essential for delivering a good performance, including daily training and conditioning.

I felt that the concept of "ELPIS Kokoro no Rehabilitation" that Mental Health Technologies is working on shares this important principle.

I myself continue to challenge myself towards my goal of becoming a player who competes on the world stage.

While cherishing this connection, I will strive to grow myself and become a player who can inspire courage and hope in many people.

▪️ Comment from Shinnosuke Tone, President and CEO of Mental Health Technologies

We have been addressing the health challenges of working people through industrial physician services, industrial health support, mental clinic support, and re-work support. Through this work, we strongly feel that "finishing treatment" and "being able to be active again" are not always the same.

In the world of sports, rehabilitation is common when returning from an injury. However, in the field of mental health, the "preparation to return" that should exist between treatment and return to work is not sufficiently established. Through "ELPIS Kokoro no Rehabilitation," we want to spread the idea that mental rehabilitation is necessary to society.

Mr. Sakamoto is a figure who garners great expectations in the tennis world, but his challenge to reach the pinnacle of the world is still ongoing. We, too, continue to challenge ourselves to become an indispensable presence in society in the fields of industrial health and mental health. This agreement is not merely a sponsorship but a partnership between challengers who are paving the way for the future in their respective fields.

▪️ Overview of ELPIS Kokoro no Rehabilitation

During a leave of absence for treatment, concentration, interpersonal skills, daily routines, etc., may decline, and the risk of re-leave increases if one returns to the same work and lifestyle as before the leave immediately after returning to work.

"ELPIS Kokoro no Rehabilitation" is a service that provides step-by-step support for returning to work through unique employment transition support and independent training (life training) programs administered by clinical psychologists and certified public psychologists. By incorporating the concept of "mental rehabilitation" between treatment and return to work, it supports stable social reintegration and prevention of re-leave.
