[Gifu Grand Hotel] Chinese Restaurant "Kasen" to Reopen on Friday, July 3rd

Gifu Grand Hotel (located along the Nagara River, President Kazuo Futatsugami) is pleased to announce the reopening of its Chinese restaurant "Kasen," which has been temporarily closed since February.

While retaining the warmth that "Kasen" has been loved for over many years, we will welcome guests with dishes evolved to be "healthier and more delicious" under the sensibility of our new head chef.

■ About the New Head Chef
Daisuke Nakamura, 47 years old
Born in Nagoya City, with 28 years of experience working primarily in hotels and restaurants in Nagoya.

I feel the weight of over 60 years of history. While meeting the expectations of our customers who have loved Kasen, I will strive to bring even greater joy by incorporating my own style.
I aim to create dishes that utilize the seasonal ingredients of the Tokai three prefectures, including Gifu, and while maintaining a hotel-like quality, are delicious for people of all ages.
As I specialize in dim sum, appetizers, and desserts, I want our guests to fully enjoy everything from the start to the end of their course meal, not just the main dishes.
