A New Standard for Everyone: Realizing a Life Where One Can Not Only "Live" But Also "Move Freely"

Our company endorses April Dream, an initiative to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release represents the dream of "Produce Co., Ltd."

Background of Our Dream

With advancements in medicine, Japan has become one of the world's leading long-lived nations. However, there is still a significant gap between "healthy life expectancy" (the period during which one can live healthily and actively) and "life expectancy." Many people face the reality of having life but being unable to move their bodies as they wish or do what they want.

Furthermore, there is a structural "gap" in modern healthcare and fitness. While hospitals provide "treatment," they often cannot adequately support continuous care or prevention afterward. On the other hand, general fitness gyms present a high barrier for those with health concerns or exercise beginners. Many people are currently left behind in this "area that belongs to neither."

We believe this "gap" is a societal challenge.

"We want to eliminate rehabilitation refugees."
"We want to create a culture of protecting health before illness strikes."

With these aspirations, we launched the medical fitness facility "Produce" in Kichijoji in 2018. What we aim for is not merely to provide training. We strive to be a presence that accompanies each individual throughout their life, helping them regain the "joy of movement" and supporting them towards a sense of well-being beyond that.

Future Initiatives

Going forward, Produce Co., Ltd. will challenge itself to establish a new regional model that integrates medicine, exercise, and technology.

We will deliver high-quality health support to more people through AI-powered posture and gait analysis, visualization of physical functions, provision of individualized programs based on scientific evidence, and the establishment of mechanisms to "sustain" exercise.

Furthermore, we will strengthen our home visit services and regional collaborations to create a system that can provide seamless support both inside and outside our facilities. We will develop tailored approaches not only for the elderly but also for those in their 40s to 60s who are beginning to feel health anxieties, and even for those in their 20s to 30s where exercise habits are becoming polarized.

Our key phrase is "extending movement," not "extending life."

No matter how long one lives, if they cannot move freely, that time cannot be considered rich. That is why we place value on "extending the time one can move." This is not merely a matter of physical function but a theme related to the quality of a person's life itself.

Moreover, we aim to foster medical fitness facilities not just as places for service provision but as "communities where people connect." A place where well-being, including not only physical but also mental and social connections, can be realized. We believe that by spreading such places throughout each region, Japan as a whole will transform into a richer and more positive society.

We are still just at the entrance of this journey.

However, by continuously supporting each individual, we want to accumulate small changes and create a great future beyond that.
