To realize 'Smart Tokyo,' which leverages digital power to unleash the city's potential, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government established the 'Nishishinjuku Advanced Service Implementation/Industry-Government-Academia Consortium (Nishishinjuku Consortium)' in Nishishinjuku, a pioneer area for Smart Tokyo, to promote the urban implementation of smart services using advanced technology in collaboration among industry, government, and academia.

To expand the results of these initiatives to other areas of Tokyo, the 'Smart Service Deployment Support Business' has been implemented since fiscal 2025, supporting efforts by Nishishinjuku Consortium member companies to create, expand, and deploy smart services in other areas of the metropolis.

We are now announcing the public offering for fiscal 2026 to select projects and operators for this support business.

Eligible Projects

We are looking for projects that involve the creation, functional expansion, and deployment of services that help solve issues faced by each area or social issues, with an eye towards horizontal deployment in areas other than Nishishinjuku within Tokyo.
