Call for Entries for the 'Kodomo Smile Movement Award'

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting the 'Kodomo Smile Movement' in collaboration with companies, NPOs, schools, and municipalities, integrating public and private efforts to heighten social awareness for valuing children toward realizing a 'Children First' society.

In this movement, in addition to initiatives led by the Tokyo government, various actions leveraging the characteristics and strengths of participating companies and organizations are implemented, unfolding initiatives that lead to children's smiles from multiple perspectives.

As part of this initiative, we are calling for advanced efforts that nurture children's smiles from companies and organizations participating in the Kodomo Smile Movement.

Starting this fiscal year, in addition to the Grand Prize and Excellence Award, we have newly established the 'Kodomo Smile Award' to recognize and introduce the efforts of more companies and organizations, aiming for the further expansion of the Kodomo Smile Movement. We will widely promote the initiatives of awarded companies and organizations through PR videos, social media, and magazine advertisements produced by the Tokyo government, so please apply.

1. Target Applicants
Companies and organizations implementing advanced initiatives that nurture children's smiles.

From Monday, May 25, to Friday, July 24, Reiwa 8 (2026).

The following awards will be presented for each category:
Grand Prize (Governor's Award): 1 winner
Excellence Award: Approx. 2 winners
Kodomo Smile Award: Approx. 3 winners

5. Award Ceremony
Scheduled for late November, Reiwa 8 (2026).

6. Items Awarded
(1) Grand Prize and Excellence Award: Certificate and supplementary prize (plaque).
(2) Kodomo Smile Award: Certificate.

a. Production and distribution of PR videos regarding the awarded initiatives, and extensive promotion through Tokyo government websites, social media, and magazine advertisements.
b. Provision of the 'Kodomo Smile Movement Award' logos.

a. Posting and promotion of awarded initiatives on Tokyo government websites and social media.
b. Provision of the 'Kodomo Smile Movement Award' (Kodomo Smile Award) logo.
