As part of this, the "Challenge-Responsive Public-Private Collaboration Boost-up Project," which introduces commercialized startup solutions to quickly resolve urgent metropolitan issues, will be newly implemented this fiscal year.
We are pleased to announce the start of recruitment for startups aimed at solving challenges, as detailed below.
### 1. Program Overview
The "Challenge-Responsive Public-Private Collaboration Boost-up Project" aims to quickly resolve urgent metropolitan issues by rapidly conducting public recruitment and selection of startups, and by expediting the certification process for policy-driven discretionary contracts* to enable swift contracting and implementation.
*A Tokyo Metropolitan Government certification system based on Article 167-2, Paragraph 1, Item 4 of the Local Autonomy Act Enforcement Order (a provision that allows for the procurement of products and services through discretionary contracts, without competitive bidding, from entities certified as those seeking to open up new business fields through the production of new products or provision of new services).
### 2. Implementation Amount
Two types are set according to the nature of the challenge and the scale of the project:
(1) General Type: Up to 2 million yen
(2) Large-scale Type: Up to 30 million yen
