MetLife Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (Chairman, President and CEO Dirk Ostijn) will welcome the new season of the "MetLife F1 League 2026-27", "MetLife F2 League 2026-27", and "MetLife Women's F League 2026-27" (collectively, the F-League), which will kick off sequentially from May 29, 2026. As the title partner, we will begin initiatives aimed at deeper co-creation with the league, each club, and local communities.

■ Evolution in the Second Year: From "Supporter" to "Co-creation Partner"

Last season, our activities centered on supporting the entire league and increasing its recognition. This season, we will evolve beyond mere sponsorship to become a partner that "co-creates" with the league, each club, and local communities. Furthermore, as part of our activities as a co-creation partner, we will implement a "Co-creation Project" with several teams belonging to the league.

・Strengthening Regional Activation in Collaboration with Each Club

In this project, we will design and implement events and programs tailored to the unique characteristics and regional challenges of each club, together with the club and the community. Specifically, we plan to host sponsored matches inviting all elementary school students in the club's hometown and activations to help local people enjoy the matches more.

・Creating Educational and Experiential Opportunities to Support Children's Futures

Furthermore, through football, we will expand opportunities for children to gain dreams and learning, together with clubs and the community. We plan to hold futsal classes and promote financial education opportunities.

・Sharing and Communicating Activities

The specific activities and stories of the co-creation project will be shared on official social media to visualize their social impact.

■ Footwork For Futures: Global Education Support × F-League Collaboration

Since 2025, under a global partnership with Global Citizen and with support from the MetLife Foundation for the "FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund," MetLife has been focusing on supporting the potential of future generations and building stronger, more sustainable communities by improving access to quality education.

This season, MetLife Life and the F-League will jointly participate from Japan in "Footwork For Futures," a collaboration with the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. This initiative is a video challenge that anyone can join on social media. F-League Chairman Daisuke Matsui will take the lead as Japan's first batter. When fans, players, and local people post videos themed on their own "footwork," each post will result in a $5 donation, with a maximum of $100,000 going to support children around the world.

The challenge of the MetLife F-League to not only enrich people's sports lives through football but also to expand its activities into the field of education to bring new possibilities to the future of communities and children deeply resonates with MetLife Life's purpose: "Always beside you, building a more confident future." We will continue to work with the league, clubs, local communities, and fans to create positive change in society through the power of sports and contribute to achieving a future where everyone can walk with confidence.
