Project Overview In the Kingdom of Cambodia, stable water supply to meet rapidly increasing water demand is a pressing issue. The Cambodian government has designated "Water" as one of the key focus areas in its "Pentagonal Strategy" announced in 2023, setting a policy goal of "achieving 100% safe water access by 2030."
In this project, we will examine the optimal facility scale considering future water demand in the country, establish a sustainable water supply system by combining our ceramic membrane filtration technology with digital technology, and aim to establish a business model that becomes widely rooted in the local community. MetaWater will contribute to the realization of the Cambodian government's policy goals by leveraging the knowledge gained from this project and the expertise cultivated through the implementation, operation, and maintenance of ceramic membrane filtration systems in water facilities within Japan.
Project Implementation Period March 2026 - February 2027 (planned)
