White Beard Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Edogawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Mitsushige Yamanaka), which operates support services for individuals experiencing school non-attendance and social withdrawal, is partnering with meleap, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hiroshi Fukuda) to open 'Higezo no Wonder LAB,' a facility where visitors can experience the AR (Augmented Reality) sport 'HADO.' The facility will open on April 4, 2026 (Saturday) within Fuji Park, part of the General Recreation Park in Edogawa Ward.
Supervised by Shirohige Home Medical Clinic, which provides medical, nursing, and disability welfare services, this facility aims not only to serve as a new activity hub for families and local residents visiting the park but also as a space where individuals experiencing school non-attendance or social withdrawal can connect with society and take a step forward.
Prior to the grand opening, a free trial event will be held on April 3 (Friday), allowing local children to play HADO at no cost.

Background of the opening of Higezo no Wonder LAB
As the rise in school non-attendance and social withdrawal becomes a significant social issue, the importance of spaces that provide 'fun' and 'experience' alongside traditional welfare approaches is growing.
The Shirohige Family operates spaces for people with mental disabilities to connect in nostalgic, comforting environments, runs retro cafes where people with disabilities can work with peace of mind, and hosts events at elementary schools and free schools to promote communication opportunities for children.
Through these activities, we utilized 'HADO,' which can be enjoyed in short bursts regardless of age or athletic ability. We observed that students who rarely spoke to each other began interacting actively, and students who typically show little emotion played with joy, realizing that 'play' can be a catalyst for moving people's hearts.
Based on this, the facility aims to serve not only as a place for park visitors to enjoy themselves but also, in collaboration with Shirohige Home Medical Clinic, to leverage medical and welfare perspectives alongside 'HADO' technology. We aim to use this space to help those who have struggled to connect with society take a step toward doing so through the power of 'play.'
