The Little World Museum of Man (Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture; Director: Kohei Ikai) will host 'Ainu Week,' a limited four-day event to experience Ainu culture, on April 11 (Sat), 12 (Sun), 18 (Sat), and 19 (Sun).
The venue, the 'Hokkaido Ainu House' area, is a precious historical site that underwent restoration completed at the end of this January, supported by many contributors through crowdfunding. This area will serve as the stage for 'Traditional Dance Performances.'
Visitors can also enjoy musical experiences with the traditional instrument 'Mukkuri' and savor Hokkaido gourmet offerings, including gibier (wild game) dishes. Additionally, sales of Hokkaido and Ainu-themed goods will be held from April 11 to April 19.
