Meiji University Liberty Academy to host 'Parent-Child Science Classroom' for elementary students on June 20

The Meiji University Liberty Academy, a lifelong learning institution, will host an experiential 'Parent-Child Science Classroom' for 3rd to 6th-grade elementary students at the Surugadai Campus on June 20 (Sat).

The program is held in two sessions with the same lineup, theme, and content: (1) 11:30–13:00 and (2) 15:00–16:30. Participants can apply for different courses for each time slot. All sessions require advance registration on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Experiencing Solidifying Chemistry! Lecturer: Takayuki Honda (Associate Professor, School of Science and Technology)
- Experiencing Engineering through Origami! Lecturer: Shoko Ishida (Associate Professor, School of Science and Technology)
- Experiencing Temperature Reduction via Plants! Lecturer: Tomotsugu Yazaki (Associate Professor, School of Agriculture)
- Experiencing Energy Conversion! Lecturer: Nobuhiko Suematsu (Professor, School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical and Sciences)

Elementary students in grades 3-6. One parent must accompany each child.

4,400 JPY (tax included)

■ Capacity
24 pairs (2 people per pair) per course/session, total 48 people.
