Background

Various robots and devices utilizing physical AI require stable uplink communication, as they transmit large volumes of data from camera images and various sensors to the cloud, and are often monitored remotely. On the other hand, communication costs tend to increase in proportion to data volume, and due to their operation in real space, advanced security measures to prevent information leaks and unauthorized access are essential.

The Company has launched the 'Secure SIM for Physical AI Free Trial Package' to solve these issues with its 'Uplink-optimized Plan' and 'Triple-Carrier Integrated Mobile Closed Network Service', robustly supporting the social implementation of physical AI as a communication infrastructure.

About the Secure SIM for Physical AI Free Trial Package

This campaign allows free use of the MEEQ SIM, MEEQ Closed Network Connection, MEEQ Console, and IMEI Lock package for three months. In actual operating environments, multiple devices with different roles, such as the physical AI device itself and peripheral equipment for monitoring and control, are often used together. This package provides an uplink-optimized plan for physical AI devices that send large data volumes, and a flat-rate plan for peripheral devices. The provided SIMs total 9 cards from three domestic carriers (NTT Docomo, SoftBank, KDDI), so you can use the most suitable carrier's SIM according to the radio wave conditions in your area.

Furthermore, for physical AI operating in real space, measures against system hijacking and information leaks via unauthorized access over the Internet are extremely important. As security measures, this package offers the MEEQ Closed Network Connection for secure communication and IMEI Lock that limits communication to one specific device. The MEEQ Closed Network Connection utilizes the 'Triple-Carrier Integrated Mobile Closed Network Service' that accommodates three different carriers in one closed network, eliminating the need to separate networks per carrier and enabling integrated security management. You can also choose either SIM Connect or VPN-Gateway as the connection method according to your situation and needs.
