[For Hospital Managers, Executives, and University Personnel] The 97th Study Group (Wednesday, April 15th) Hosted by: The Association to Think About the Future of Medical Care in Japan

The monthly medical information magazine "Concentration" (B5/published on the 1st of every month, 50,000 copies), first published in 2008, provides medical information useful for hospital management, such as trends in health administration, pharmaceuticals, and medical device companies, as a magazine for hospital managers and doctors. Our company also hosts a regular study group called the "Association to Think About the Future of Medical Care in Japan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Future Association"), where members of the Diet, medical institution managers, and executives of medical-related companies gather to exchange information on various issues facing Japanese medical care (participation is free for medical professionals/approximately 2,500 registered members as of January 2026).

**【Theme】 The Challenge of Pediatric Liver Transplantation from Japan and the Future of Transplant Medicine**

**【Lecturer】 Dr. Mureo Kasahara, Hospital Director, National Center for Child Health and Development** Dr. Kasahara, who boasts one of the world's top surgical records and high survival rates in pediatric living donor liver transplantation, has built the center's liver transplant program from scratch, elevating Japan's liver transplant system to international standards. In this lecture, he will address the unique progress of transplant medicine in Japan, where organ donation after brain death is limited, and propose a sustainable system for an era with a declining birthrate. Furthermore, he will introduce international developments originating from Japan, such as human resource development and medical support overseas.
