Mitsubishi Corporation Logistics (MCLOGI) has been selected as an excellent business operator in the Reiwa 7th year Eco-Ship Modal Shift Project. This initiative involved using MOL Sunflower's Tokyo-Hakata route for inter-center transportation for Shimamura Music, from their Fukuoka Logistics Center to Ichikawa Logistics Center. MCLOGI's 'TODOCARRY' modal shift service facilitated the transition from predominantly truck-based transportation to RORO ship-based transportation. In Reiwa 6th year, the utilization rate of RORO ships reached 72% of the total transportation volume. This achievement was recognized for its significant CO2 emission reduction and contribution to supply chain efficiency through the shift to ship-centric transportation. MCLOGI is committed to expanding and evolving 'TODOCARRY' and other advanced logistics solutions in collaboration with partners to contribute to the development of a sustainable society and industry, and to achieve a carbon-neutral society. The Eco-Ship Mark Certification System, managed by the 'Eco-Ship Modal Shift Project Executive Committee' (comprising the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Maritime Bureau, ferry operators, RORO ship, container ship, and car carrier operators), certifies shippers and logistics operators who contribute to modal shift to marine cargo transport. Operators with particularly significant achievements in modal shift to marine transport receive the Maritime Bureau Director-General's Award. Those with exceptionally high contributions through innovative initiatives are awarded the 'Marine Modal Shift Grand Prize'. Mitsubishi Corporation Logistics Co., Ltd. was established in April 1954, with its head office in 2-10-1 Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The representative director is Tetsu Tanaka.
