MCD3 Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Masao Iida) announced the release of the smartphone app 'My Green Site' (hereinafter 'this app') for skilled workers, which digitally connects prime contractors and skilled workers, starting April 20, 2026. In addition, with expectations that this app will be effective in improving workers' motivation and achieving site DX at a low cost, Maeda Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Soji Maeda) has simultaneously decided on an 'official adoption across all sites'.
This app resolves communication (information transmission and mutual understanding) issues at construction sites and contributes to improving productivity. Furthermore, by utilizing the data of over 2.8 million (*1) skilled workers managed in the construction industry cloud service 'Construction Site Series', it enables reliable information transmission and incentive provision to each individual worker, thereby improving worker engagement. Also, to solve the future shortage of workers, which is one of the important issues in the construction industry, the company aims to utilize it as an IT tool to improve the work environment through digital transformation (DX) and to foster and secure personnel.
Maeda Corporation Officially Adopts it at All Sites
In verifying the app's incentive measure functions for skilled workers (including the digital gift sending function), we received cooperation from the comprehensive construction company Maeda Corporation. A trial was implemented at some sites starting in January 2026, and they have decided to introduce it at all sites starting in April 2026.
Comment from Mr. Kenichi Tazawa, Head of Engineering Group, Building Construction Dept., Building Construction Headquarters, Maeda Corporation
Our company was quick to declare the 'Voluntary Declaration System for Companies that Value Construction Skilled Workers' (*2) on December 16, 2025. As one of those initiatives, we are starting the 'Operation of MK Point System' using My Green Site at all civil engineering and building construction sites from April 2026. This is a system that grants digital gifts according to the number of admission days per CCUS level, targeting all skilled workers entering our sites.
Our company already uses Green Site at all sites. My Green Site links the construction system, worker roster, and gate passage information of Green Site, so the hurdle for introduction is low for both prime contractors and partner companies. Taking into consideration the usage fees and operation costs, we made the decision to introduce it to all sites this time. Additionally, the fact that digital gifts can be exchanged for an abundant 7 types was a deciding factor, as we judged it would be effective in improving the motivation of skilled workers to work at our sites.
We expect MCD3 Co., Ltd. to continue working on improving functionality and contribute to creating an environment where skilled workers can work more comfortably at our sites.
Main Features of My Green Site
My Green Site is a smartphone app (iPhone/Android compatible) for skilled workers registered in the labor safety document creation service 'Green Site' (*3). It seamlessly links with the construction system, worker roster, and entry/exit data held by Green Site, contributing to the efficiency and sophistication of construction work at sites and improving worker engagement.
1. Effective information transmission to each individual skilled worker
It realizes effective information transmission to each individual skilled worker belonging to a partner company, which was difficult in the past. By distributing notices and materials for each headquarters, branch, or site, morning assembly videos, new entrant education videos, etc., and using a quiz-style survey function, information can be reliably delivered to workers. The prime contractor can also check and record the confirmation status of each worker.
2. Unify IT tool IDs on site to establish and promote usage
The workers themselves can start using it in 3 simple steps, and a user ID for foremen (MCDP-ID) is automatically issued. Automatic issuance significantly reduces the burden of acquiring IDs and managing access rights. Using the MCDP-ID, they can smoothly start using various services of the Construction Site Series, such as the inter-work coordination service 'Work Site' (*4). In the future, we will expand coordination with third-party services, aiming to realize an environment where users can easily log into various IT tools with a single ID.
3. Realization of effective incentive measures
Digital gifts can be granted to individual workers based on their work performance on site or participation in safety training sessions. Incentive design linked to the CCUS skill level (*5) is also possible, effectively providing value to excellent workers and motivating safety awareness, contributing to the improvement of workers' work motivation.
