Mayekawa Mfg. Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Makoto Maekawa; hereinafter "the Company"), which manufactures and sells industrial refrigeration machines, various industrial machinery, and designs/constructs plants, boasting a global market share of over 40% (*1) for its industrial refrigeration machines, will exhibit at the "12th Tokyo Heatwave Countermeasures Expo" to be held from July 15 (Wed) to July 17 (Fri), 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight (East Halls 7 & 8).
In Japan, temperatures begin to rise from late April, and in recent years, warm days continue until late October. The period from late June to early September sees the highest temperatures, significantly impacting daily life and working environments. The "Heatwave Countermeasures Expo" is a specialized exhibition focused on providing solutions for heat-related challenges (quoted from the Heatwave Countermeasures Expo website).

Counter extreme heat with "virtually zero" cooling costs! Introducing solutions utilizing heat pumps with live demonstrations.
At this exhibition, under the concept of "ThermoEdge Solutions Netsupitta" - Solutions That Precisely Address Heat Challenges of Extreme Heat - we will primarily introduce "ZERO-Cool," one of our heat engineering solutions.
"ZERO-Cool" is a heat pump system that supplies cool air within a factory and simultaneously utilizes the waste heat generated in the process as energy to produce hot water. By allocating the fuel cost savings from hot water boilers to the electricity costs of the heat pump, it is possible to aim for "virtually zero" (*2) cooling electricity costs, depending on the conditions. It can deliver powerful cool air over a wide area, akin to a "large spot cooler," even in vast manufacturing areas. Customers who have introduced it have highly praised the improved comfort of their work environments due to the cooling and dehumidifying effects.
At our booth, we will conduct a live demonstration of "ZERO-Cool" using the "UNIMO AW" air-source heat pump water heater. Please experience the coolness from the large airflow firsthand.
