Matilda Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yuka Maruyama; hereinafter "the Company"), whose mission is "Creating a society where children can remain innocent," is pleased to announce that it signed the "NIC+ (Nakano Inclusive Care Partnership)" agreement, a public-private partnership system promoted by Nakano City, on February 25, 2026.

About NIC+

The NIC+ (Nakano Inclusive Care Partnership) agreement is a public-private partnership system in which Nakano City and private businesses, educational/research institutions, and organizations build collaborative relationships to promote initiatives contributing to community-based integrated care by utilizing their respective resources and expertise.

Targeting activities that contribute to the enhancement of the community-based integrated care system—such as health and welfare promotion, home care advancement, dementia measures, nursing care prevention, monitoring support, and measures against loneliness and isolation—the City and its partners aim to solve regional issues through ongoing dialogue.

Background of the NIC+ Agreement

The Company operates "Matilda," a takeout station for home-cooked meals, with the mission of "Creating a society where children can remain innocent."

Due to the increase in dual-income households and changes in lifestyles, daily meal preparation has become a significant burden for many child-rearing families. We have aimed to deliver not just meals, but "time and peace of mind" to parents and "opportunities for enjoyment and growth through food" to children.

Currently, we operate a station at "Kodomo Depart Nakano" (Chuo, Nakano City) in Nakano City, which is used daily by local child-rearing families. Matilda's stations are more than just delivery points; they serve as hubs that support the daily lives of families—where lights go on at the same time every day and familiar relationships naturally develop between users and staff.

We believe there is a high affinity between Nakano City's direction for community-based integrated care and our goal of building an "ecosystem where the entire community supports child-rearing," which led to the signing of this agreement.
