Maruto Shoyu was founded in Tawaramoto Town, Nara Prefecture in 1689. It was forced to close due to difficulties in procuring raw materials after the war, but in 2020, the 18th current head, Hiroyuki Kimura, the grandson of the predecessor, revived soy sauce making for the first time in 70 years. As a new point of contact with the revived soy sauce, a facility that integrates accommodation and a restaurant was established, and not only domestic guests but also many foreign tourists enjoy stays centered around soy sauce.

In this plan, 'SHOYU BREWER STAY', guests go beyond the brewery tours offered in regular accommodation plans. While putting themselves in the space where brewers once slept, they touch soy sauce koji and stirring paddles in the preparation storehouse, learning the world of soy sauce making nurtured over time and its spirituality. Through a 3-day, 2-night stay, please enjoy the charm of Yamato's soy sauce brewing culture breathing with the climate of Tawaramoto with all five senses.
