Former Principal, Hong Kong Ballet
Studied under Keiko Kawakami, Toshiyuki Tanaka, Nobuko Egawa, Hideo Fukagawa. Joined Hong Kong Ballet in 1998.
Became Principal Dancer in 2008. Starred in almost all productions of the ballet company.
Repertoire:
"The Nutcracker" choreographed by Stephen Jefferies, "The Merry Widow," "Coppélia" choreographed by Ronald Hynd, "Rubies," "Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux," "Concerto Barocco" choreographed by George Balanchine, etc.
Retired from the company and returned to Japan in 2010.
Began teaching activities at Studio Architanz. In 2011, performed Mercedes and Queen of the Dryads in "Don Quixote" at the Japan Ballet Association Tokyo Citizens' Art Festival.
Guest performed at the "International Ballet Gala" in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2012. Guest performed at the Kanagawa Prefectural Arts Dance Association performances in 2015 & 2018.
