Sheraton Kagoshima Launches 'SHERATON LOVELY', the First Collaboration Product with Festivalo

'Sheraton Kagoshima' (Location: 43-15 Koraicho, Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture; President: Hitoshi Imuta; General Manager: Takeshi Toda) will launch the sweet potato rare cake 'SHERATON LOVELY', a collaboration product with the sweet potato confectionery specialty store 'Festivalo', starting Monday, June 1, 2026, at the 1st-floor cafe '&More by Sheraton'.

This is the first time the nationally popular sweet potato confectionery specialty store 'Festivalo' has developed a collaboration product. Supervised by the pastry chef of Sheraton Kagoshima, three types of milk cream using sweet potatoes with different characteristics are topped on Festivalo's signature product 'Lovely'. This delivers the charm of the 'sweet potato' nurtured by Kagoshima's rich climate, along with a premium taste.

Provided in a special package exclusive to Sheraton Kagoshima, it is ideal as a gift or a Kagoshima souvenir. As an item with the premium quality characteristic of a hotel, it can be used for various occasions. In addition to takeout sales, it can currently be enjoyed as a tasting set inside the cafe.

This three-layered sweet consists of Festivalo's most popular 'Lovely' dough for the first layer, Kagoshima Prefecture Chiran tea dough for the second layer, and milk cream made from three types of sweet potatoes on top, creating a deep flavor profile. Deep-sea water-derived salt is added as an accent to enhance the inherent charm of the ingredients.

The milk cream combines three types of sweet potatoes—'Ayamurasaki', 'Koganesengan', and 'Benihayato'—with mellow milk using prefecture-produced milk, leveraging their different sweetness, aroma, and texture.

'Ayamurasaki', possessing the beautiful color and rich sweetness unique to purple sweet potatoes, is layered with the gentle lingering finish of milk to create a glamorous and elegant taste. 'Koganesengan', appealing for its fluffy and rustic flavor, harmonizes with the richness of milk to finish with a gentle, somewhat nostalgic taste. And the soft orange 'Benihayato', with its smooth mouthfeel, allows you to enjoy a deep flavor along with a creamy melt-in-the-mouth texture.
