JW Marriott Hotel Nara Expands Popular Cultural Experience Program to All Guests

JW Marriott Hotel Nara (Location: 1-1-1 Sanjo-Oji, Nara City, Nara Prefecture; General Manager: Seigo Fujisaki) announced that starting June 1, 2026, it has expanded its 'Nara's Traditions and Local Experience Journey' cultural program. Previously limited to specific accommodation packages, the program is now available for all guests to book and enjoy as standalone experiences.

As interest in 'immersive travel' grows—where guests seek authentic experiences, cultural interactions, and connections with local artisans—JW Marriott Hotel Nara has focused on five areas: sake brewing, tea ceremony, wagashi (Japanese sweets), Nara calligraphy brushes, and coffee. The hotel partners with local artisans and experts to offer these curated programs.

Due to positive feedback from domestic and international guests, the hotel has extended access beyond package holders to all guests. This expansion aims to allow more visitors to delve deep into the profound charm of Nara's culture.

The hotel manages all arrangements, including round-trip transportation to each facility, supporting a seamless and stress-free journey for international guests. Rooted in the JW Marriott brand’s commitment to 'mindfulness,' the hotel provides experiences that allow guests to immerse themselves in the local history and deep craftsmanship, ensuring total fulfillment of mind and body.

*Standalone activities are available for 15,000 yen per experience (inclusive of tax and service charges, same price for 1-2 people). The same rate applies to additional activities.
