[Courtyard by Marriott Okinawa Resort] Reservations Open for Restaurant 'Shioka' and Lobby Lounge & Bar 'THE LOUNGE'

Courtyard by Marriott Okinawa Resort, opening on Monday, June 15, 2026, has started accepting reservations for its beachfront restaurant 'Shioka' and lobby lounge & bar 'THE LOUNGE' in advance of the opening.

Overlooking Kise Beach, 'Shioka'—meaning 'scent of the tide'—is an all-day dining venue where guests can enjoy Okinawa's nature and food culture with all five senses in an open seaside atmosphere. We aim to create a place that makes you want to visit for the restaurant itself, accessible not only to hotel guests but also to local residents and guests staying at nearby hotels.

The biggest attraction of 'Shioka' is the authentic barbecue experience on the beachfront terrace. In Okinawa, barbecue is often affectionately called 'beach party,' and there is a long-standing culture of gathering with family and friends by the sea, enjoying barbecue and relaxing time. At 'Shioka,' you can experience this local food culture unique to Okinawa along with the stunning view of Kise Beach. Guests can grill selected local ingredients such as Okinawan wagyu beef, fresh seafood, and vegetables themselves, enjoying the sound of waves and sea breeze.

Signature menu items include the 'Shioka Teppan Cheese Burger' (served at both Shioka and THE LOUNGE) and 'Ise Lobster Champuru' (dinner only at Shioka), which blend Okinawan ingredients with dynamic cooking experiences.

Lobby Lounge & Bar 'THE LOUNGE' is located in the lobby area adjacent to the beach, offering a high-quality time while feeling Okinawa's nature. During the day, it provides a relaxing space with light meals and sweets overlooking Kise Beach. From sunset to night, it transforms into a sophisticated bar lounge that sets the mood for a resort evening.

Signature cocktails include 'Deep Blue,' an awamori-based cocktail inspired by Okinawa's gentle waves, and 'Yambaru Sunset,' depicting the evening scenery of Yanbaru. Other offerings include Okinawan craft beers, a wide selection of drinks, and pastries made with local ingredients.
