"Omamori" given at check-out, embodying the "cycle of life" as "Shinsui" (Deep Water).
To all our guests, we present an original "Omamori" hoping for their safe travels after their stay and a safe return home. As we celebrate our 6th anniversary this year, from Wednesday, July 15, we will present a new "Omamori" imbued with fresh sentiments, symbolizing the culmination of the Ritz-Carlton, Nikko experience.
This year's "Omamori" is "Shinsui," a layering of several shades of blue. It is inspired by the flow of Nikko's water, which originates from the snow accumulated on Mount Nantai, journeys through the forests, flows into Lake Chuzenji, and eventually returns to the earth as the Kegon Falls. This ceaseless and powerful circulation of water, constantly changing its form while remaining pure, is the very "cycle of life" that breathes in this land.
The tranquility residing in each drop and the powerful strength of its ceaseless flow reflect our desire to cherish the essence amidst changing times. Furthermore, while valuing respect for nature and connections with the local community, it embodies our hope that the experiences here will continue far into the future.
We hope this "Omamori" will gently accompany your future journeys, along with the memories of your stay.
An "Omamori" inspired by the "cycle of life" like Nikko's water, continuously circulating while changing its form.
