Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima (Location: Wakakusa-cho, Higashi-ku, Hiroshima City / General Manager: Hiroyuki Yamamoto) will host "Music Fest by Marriott Bonvoy 2026," an event organized by Marriott Bonvoy, the travel program developed by Marriott International (Headquarters: Maryland, USA, President and CEO: Anthony Capuano), at six participating hotels nationwide. As part of this, Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima will hold a dinner show featuring Gagaku musician Hideki Togi.

Hideki Togi has pioneered new possibilities for Gagaku by collaborating with various genres such as rock, jazz, and orchestra, not limited to classical music. This performance will offer a unique musical experience, fitting for his 30th anniversary year, along with exquisite cuisine unique to the hotel.

This event also coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima's opening and the renewal of its banquet hall "Minami." It promises a memorable evening where music, gourmet food, and space harmonize.

【Featured Artist Profile】

Hideki Togi (Gagaku Musician)

The Togi family has inherited Gagaku for 1300 years, from the Nara period to the present day. While serving in the Music Department of the Imperial Household Agency, he participated in court ceremonies, Gagaku concerts at the Imperial Palace, and overseas performances, playing a role in introducing Japanese traditional culture and promoting international goodwill. At the same time, he passionately created original compositions using Gagaku instruments with piano and synthesizers. He debuted in 1996 with the album "Hideki Togi." He has pioneered new possibilities for Gagaku with unique expressions that utilize the characteristics of Gagaku instruments, collaborating across genres such as classical, rock, jazz, and orchestra. In recognition of his contribution to Japanese art and culture, he received the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs' Special Award in 2024. He will celebrate his 30th anniversary in 2026.
