The Westin Yokohama, a lifestyle hotel embodying a new generation of "well-being," will host the "Matcha Garden Dessert Buffet" featuring a rich selection of matcha sweets at its 3rd-floor buffet restaurant, Pacific Table, starting Monday, May 11, 2026.
The popular signature bowl, approximately 1 meter in diameter, which is currently a hit at the "Love Strawberry Buffet," will now appear in a Japanese garden-inspired setting. Standing out prominently in the center of the bowl is DRY BONSAI. This regenerative art form, which breathes new life into once-dead bonsai, is attracting attention both domestically and internationally. It deeply resonates with the philosophy of The Westin Yokohama, which is Green Key certified and committed to sustainable initiatives.
Centered around the DRY BONSAI, desserts lavishly using matcha are arranged to express a unique Japanese garden experience at Pacific Table. Beyond the visually stunning presentation, meticulous attention has been paid to each flavor. Enjoy matcha sweets with a Pacific Table twist, accompanied by refreshing aromas that evoke early summer.
As May ushers in the new tea season, we have prepared desserts accented with the refreshing bitterness and rich flavor of matcha.

Enjoy the pleasant harmony of sweetness and subtle bitterness created by matcha and chocolate in items like the adorable matcha ganache and milk chocolate pops, reminiscent of wildflowers, or the cute ladybug-themed matcha chocolate and baked donuts that will surely bring a smile to your face.
Popular tiramisu is paired with matcha and mango, while the chocolate tart features matcha and sweet red bean paste, offering intriguing combinations. Furthermore, traditional Japanese desserts such as daifuku, shiratama shake, and warabi mochi are infused with matcha, adding a new dimension to familiar flavors.
In addition to matcha, we also offer sweets using various other teas. The banana financier with the savory aroma of genmaicha (roasted brown rice tea) and the almond milk pudding combining oolong tea and lychee evoke an exotic flair. Moreover, white tea, the hotel's signature scent, has been crafted into an original blend of jelly.

Matcha chocolate fondue (additional charge) is also available for each table. Enjoy it by generously coating marshmallows and dried mangoes.
Immerse yourself in the world of matcha, engaging all five senses, enveloped in the gentle air of early summer.
