Marks Life Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Koji Hanahara, hereinafter "the Company") will expand its collaboration with Sawayaka Club Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture; a consolidated subsidiary of Uchiyama Holdings Co., Ltd.; President: Takehiro Yamamoto, hereinafter "Sawayaka Club"), which operates nursing care facilities and restaurants nationwide, to launch a free consultation service for issues related to family home organization, vacant homes, inheritance, end-of-life planning, and relocation at the company's karaoke establishments "Korokke Club" (excluding some areas).
This initiative expands the consultation support model of "Jitsumado," a consultation service for family homes that has been offered at Sawayaka Club's nursing care facilities since June 2025, to "the daily life routes of the community."
Marks Life will promote the construction of a community-based life support infrastructure that supports the early resolution of "family home problems" by creating an environment where anyone can easily consult with experts.
The Deepening "Family Home Problem"
With the acceleration of aging, issues related to real estate owned by the parent generation, vacant homes, inheritance, and end-of-life planning are increasing year by year.
In particular, for the child generation living separately from their parents, there are often multiple issues that arise simultaneously, such as:
- Inability to manage the family home
- Wanting to take action before the home becomes vacant
- Not knowing how to proceed with inheritance procedures
- Considering relocation for parents
- Wanting to plan for future care and housing
However, many of these issues are often postponed because people "don't know who to consult," leading to problems becoming more complex and prolonged.
"Jitsumado," operated by Marks Life, is a nationwide service that serves as a specialized consultation desk for family home organization, vacant homes, inheritance, end-of-life planning, and relocation, in response to these social issues.
Background for Launching Services at Korokke Club: Transforming Community "Third Places" into Consultation Hubs
Korokke Club, with which we are newly collaborating, is a karaoke facility that offers community-based entertainment spaces used by a wide range of generations, from students and families to local communities and active seniors.
In recent years, with an increase in daytime usage, the number of seniors visiting has also grown, and the facility is playing a role not just as a place for entertainment, but as a community gathering place, a "third place," for local residents.
Marks Life is focusing on this community connection and aims for early detection and resolution of issues by creating an environment where people can easily consult about concerns regarding family homes and inheritance, which have previously been difficult to discuss with specialized institutions, within the karaoke facilities they regularly use.
Solving the Problem of "Not Knowing Who to Consult"
This service will utilize "Jitsumado's" nationwide network to connect users with appropriate experts for various issues related to family homes, including:
- Family home organization and utilization
- Vacant homes
- Inheritance
- End-of-life planning
- Relocation
- Asset management
- Living support
Furthermore, for cases involving multiple intertwined issues, a system is in place to provide one-stop consultation and support.
In addition, through collaboration with Sawayaka Club, which operates nursing care facilities, a comprehensive support system will be realized that includes not only the elderly individuals themselves but also their families.
Future Outlook
Through collaboration with Sawayaka Club, the Company will promote the creation of consultation opportunities by utilizing places where local residents, including Korokke Club, gather daily, in addition to consultation support at nursing care facilities.
By establishing an environment where issues such as family home organization, vacant homes, inheritance, end-of-life planning, and relocation faced by elderly individuals and their families can be consulted about more easily and in more familiar locations, we will support the early detection and resolution of these problems.
Moving forward, by leveraging the strengths of both companies, we will continue to promote the development of new life support models that utilize community connections, aiming to realize a community where everyone can live with peace of mind.
